Me and my family recently visited this restaurant this evening for the first time, and it was AMAZING!! Our server was incredibly attentive and made our dining experience truly enjoyable. They anticipated our needs, kept our drinks refilled, and even remembered our preferences from the first order. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. But what really made our visit special was the wonderful service. Our server made us feel like we were VIPs! The atmosphere is so cozy and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend it!"
Sushi is only “amazing” when the rice is perfectly prepared, and Yuzu Bowl did exactly that. Overall, it’s a nice spot but for me, the food was the star. Draft Sapporo is common pace but draft Asahi is tougher to find. So nice to have both as an option. The location is perfect. We drove here from Predator Ridge which is around 35 minutes north, the drive was well worth it. Highly recommend!
Yuzu never fails to impress. It’s one of Kelowna’s best (not-so-hidden) gems. The menu evolves often and somehow manages to get better each time. The staff are kind, attentive, and always on top of things. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—not too loud—making it ideal for a date night. Pricing is consistently fair. I would recommend this spot again and again.
Yuzu Bowl and Bistro exceeded all expectations! The service was top notch and every dish we tried was incredible! Our favourites were the Chicken Karaage and the Takoyaki. As an added bonus the prices are extremely reasonable. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend coming here!
We love Yuzu and have been here several times and the food and service is consistent. Would definitely recommend the chicken karage, takoyaki, calamari. We have had the poke bowls and ramen on a few different occasions and have always been so good!
Chicken Nanba is super delicious, tender and crispy! Highly recommended! Braised pork belly is very delicious too with a cute egg but if comparing to chicken Nanba, the pork is slightly dryer in comparison. Both are great and delicious!
A charming restaurant located on Ellis, we visited for lunch on a Friday afternoon and were promptly seated in a booth, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The waitstaff attended to us promptly and courteously, demonstrating a solid understanding of the menu, even though we opted for a relatively simple meal in comparison to other offerings. We ordered the Chili tofu bites and the Pork Bao buns for the Appy and simple rice bowls and sushi for our lunch, This is certainly a restaurant I would revisit and recommend to friends. The food exceeded my expectations, showcasing authentic Japanese cuisine. It is a great dining option to explore if you find yourself in the downtown area.
My partner and I visited yuzu for dinner on March 17th We were seated in a booth, and I have to say this place impressed me. It was very beautiful inside, quiet and upscale atmosphere that is perfect for a date night or to chat and eat. My partner and I shared a California roll that was very good. Good amount of soy sauce on the side as well as ginger. Overall, a very good and tasty, quality sushi roll. For mains, we both had different rice bowls. My chili chicken bowl was SOOOOO good! The chicken was crispy and tangy, and the ratio of chicken to rice to veggies was phenomenal! I can’t rave enough about this dish. And there was more than enough for me to eat and take some home. My partner had a teriyaki chicken bowl. It was beautifully presented and very tasty! I can’t comment on much, but by looking at it and her reaction, I can tell it was good. We asked to see their dessert menu and decided on a bowl of green tea gelato, and as someone who doesn’t really like green tea anything, I would prefer this over most other gelato! It was creamy and smooth, not overly sweet, and had a subtle taste that was a fitting end to our dinner. Portion size was small, but between the two of us, it was enough to make us happy. Couldn’t stop ourselves from eating it before we could get some pictures! To conclude, the staff was super friendly, and the food was some of the best in Kelowna for taste and value. We plan on going again soon, and so should you!
